Property Finder: Successful Search Tips
Whether you are looking to buy a home, rent an apartment, or do just about anything in between, you can and should use the Property Finder. The Property Finder is a desktop application that connects you with thousands of real estate property listings. It does so quickly and with ease; the Property Finder searches thousands of websites for you with one single search!
Regardless of whether you use the Property Finder or another website to find real estate property listings, how you search will have a huge impact on your results. Speaking of which, how can you make sure you do get the best results?
Categories: You have many categories to choose from when performing a Property Finder search. Luckily, you don’t have to make a huge decision. You can search the entire for sale or for rent sections or get more specific. In all honesty, the decision is yours to make.
Zip Code: Your zip code is important. Unlike a job, where you might not mind driving an hour to work, buying a house or even finding an apartment to rent is much more important. Don’t settle for second best. Know ahead of time where you want to live, even if it is a toss up between three towns - still have a good idea. Use one of these zip codes.
Keyword: You do not need to enter in a keyword to search real estate property listings via the Property Finder; a keyword or keyword phrase is optional. However, the Property Finder searches thousands of websites for you. What this means is lots of results. As great as this is, you can narrow down your property list by getting specific. Whether you search with a town name or a school district name - do it!
Price Range: A price range is also optional, but recommended. If you are like most other buyers or renters, you are shopping on a budget. So why look at real estate property listings you cannot afford? Don’t - set a price range first.
Alerts: Finally, if you are Property Finder Pro User, you can setup email alerts. This is ideal if you want to be the first to hear about a great for sale property or rental. To setup email alerts, fill in all required and optional search fields, check the “Add as Alerts” box, and submit your search. Then, click the “Alerts” tab on the left-hand side of the page, key in your email address, and save your changes.
