It is easy to use Craigslist.org. If you want to look for a home in your current community, visit Craigslist.org and then select your location. Next, use the search box on the left side of the page. First, change the default search settings to search the housing section. After doing a search, you’ll see a list of all for sale homes in the surrounding area that meet your searches. This list is just a sample; you can click on a headline to see the full real estate posting on Craigslist.
The Cons
Not all Craigslist home sellers post a lot of detailed information. Luckily, you should get this important information later on. You’ll never buy a home without first seeing it or asking the seller more questions; therefore, the lack of information upfront is okay. If you want to save time, ask the seller or realtor to email you additional pictures or more information. This allows you to determine if a trip to visit the house is even worth it.
There are Craigslist search limitations. As stated before, you search the location page you selected from the home page. You search this area only.
