Q: What should I do when my free trial expires?
A: When your free 7-day trial ends, you must download the Property Finder Free or purchase the Property Finder or the Property Finder Pro. You cannot load the program without doing so. Click the link above to make your purchase.
Q: What websites does the Property Finder search?
A: Honestly, there are way too many websites to list here. The Property Finder searches thousands of websites for you with one search. These sites might depend on your zip code, but they are likely to include real estate, rental, foreclosure, and classified sites.
Q: How can I setup alerts by email?
A: Enter in all required search criteria (optional too if you want), check the “Ad as Alert” box, and then submit your search. A pop-up window will now appear on your screen; name your alert. Then, click the “Alerts” tab that is on the left side of the program. Click to activate email alerts and then apply your changes.
Q: Why can’t I activate new property alerts by email?
A: This feature is only available on the Property Finder Pro. If you cannot check the “Ad as Alert” box, you are likely using the Property Finder Free or the Property Finder.
Q: Why aren’t my searches getting any results?
A: The Property Finder searches thousands of websites for you; therefore, you should see something. If not, recheck your search criteria. Ensure that all keywords are spelled correctly, your zip code is okay, and so forth.
Q: Can I narrow down my results; I am getting too many?
A: Too many results are nice, but it can make it hard to compare. You can do a Property Finder search with nothing more than a category, zip code, and radius. For the most accurate and relevant results, customize your searches. Use a keyword or phrase, set a price range, choose from a specific type of seller, select from a specific bedroom count, and more.
Q: Can I sort my results?
A: Yes. Look at the headings at the top of your search results list and click one of them. You can rearrange based on date the listing was posted online, location, price, bedroom count, condition, and more.
Q: Why isn’t the built-in reply working?
A: An email address must be provided in the listing for this feature to work. If one is provided and if you are getting an error message, you have likely yet to customize your email settings. Click on the “My Email Settings” on the left-hand side of the page.
Q: Why hasn’t someone responded to me? Was my email sent through the Property Finder?
A: If you were able to send an email through the Property Finder, it did go through. We can connect you with sellers and more, but we can’t guarantee they will respond.
