Thank you for downloading the Leads Finder. You are well on your way to finding an overwhelming number of leads. While the Leads Finder is so easy it is self-explanatory, we have created a helpful user guide for you.
Searching With the Leads Finder
To get started, look at the search bar at the top of your screen. This is what you will find:
As you can see from the example, we are searching for a Honda within 100 miles of the 60067 zip code. All you need to do is enter in your own personal information. What kind of lead are you looking for, are you looking for a local lead or nationwide? Are you into real-estate or car business? or job business? Just enter all the filters that suite you.
If you don't need a filter then just leave that field blank. For example, if you are looking for a house then leave all the car filters alone.
Setting Up SMTP Information (Email Settings)
Before you can send any emails thru Leads Finder, you will need to enter SMTP information. Just click on "Email Settings" tab on the left of the Leads Finder and enter all the SMPT information in those boxes.
If you don't know what SMTP is then just open up the GMAIL account from Gmail.com as this information is automatically entered into the Leads Finder.
After you enter this information, make sure to click on the "Test" button to receive a test email. You are good to go if you got that email. If not, reenter the correct information.
Setting Up New Job Alerts
With millions of Americans selling and buying things over internet, there is a lot of competition for hot items and sales leads. Increase your chances by being the first to respond to a lead. The Leads Finder’s alerts let you do so. Here is how you setup email alerts of new leads as they go live:
- Check the ‘Ad as Alerts’ box before hitting the search button.
- Name your alert (example, Hondas in Chicago) and determine whether you want to run the search once or at scheduled intervals.
- Click the ‘Alerts’ tab off to the left.
- Step 4: Click to activate email alerts and key in your email address.
- Step 5: Apply your changes.
Reviewing Your Results
After performing a search, whether you setup alerts first or not, you will see a list of leads in the top frame of the Leads Finder. To examine the rest of your results, just click the 'Up' or 'Down' arrow key on your keyboard. What is ideal about this feature is no back browser button; everything you need is in one program window!
Click on a lead to see the entire posting in the window below. This is what you will see:
Do More Than Just Review Your Results: Edit and Add Notes!
If you search with a general phrase, like car, you will get all kinds of cars, you will even get leads for car parts, etc. If you want only Honda civic, eliminate the others. Just check all the leads that you want to remove and then click on "Delete Checked", and all those leads will be removed from the list.
Whether you talked to the lead or schedule an appointment, notes will come in handy; they eliminate confusion when you have too many leads. To make notes, just click on the button called “Notes.” You can make note of when you applied for a talked to the lead, or when the appointment is scheduled, and so forth.
You will see that if you reply to a lead or add notes to a particular lead then that job will be shown in a different color, this will help you quickly identify those leads.
Apply to Leads Using the Leads Finder’s Built-In Reply
You can reply to a lead, by clicking the ‘Reply’ button that appears next to the full lead listing in the bottom window. Next, a pop-up will appear, it looks like this: You must enter subject and body.
What is ideal about this feature is it remembers all information you type. This saves a lot of time because you don’t have to retype the same information! You will also notice a color change after that email was sent.
