Tips and Tricks: Use the Leads Finder or Find Free Things for Android to Score Thousands of Dollars in FREE Things!
The Leads Finder searches thousands of websites for you, as does Find Free Stuff for Android. These websites include online classified sites and marketplaces like Craigslist. Most posters on these sites are trying to make some extra cash. However, you will also find those who are just looking to clean house. These individuals are known for saying “I want it gone and now, so take it for free!” What this means is that you can use the Leads Finder to find free stuff.
But wait! What type of free stuff? You might be surprised. I just did a search online with the Leads Finder with nothing more than the word “free.” The list is too long for me to go into great detail, but here is what I found: microwave, toaster, couch, fridge, lot of 50 books, garbage bag full of kids clothes, lot of 10 old Nintendo games, a box spring for a bed, office desk that needs a new drawer handle, and more!
If you want to score some great deals on free things with the help of the Leads Finder, keep these important points in mind.
When to Be Specific and When Not to Be
The search phrase you use should all depend on what you are looking for. Lets say you are looking for free home appliances. Do a search with “free home appliances” and you aren’t likely to get much. This is because the phrase home appliances is rarely used; people often say toaster, microwave, oven, and so forth. So search with those phrases.
On the other hand, lets say you are looking for free kids toys. You are looking for really any type of age appropriate toys so use the search phrase “free toys.” This way, you will see all free toys listed (you get more results) and you can weed through all listings to find what you want.
You MUST Act Quick
Free stuff posted online that you can find via the Leads Finder or Find Free Stuff for Android tends to fit into three different categories great, okay, and sucks! Don’t be surprised to find some jerk who is too cheap to pay $10 for a sheet of garbage tags so they post that garbage on Craigslist. Not only that, but after their listing expires they post it again! These types of free things will sit online for months on end, but the good stuff (quality items that are in need and in useable shape) will go fast. You need to be the first to call or shoot off an email.
Setup Email Alerts
If you are one of those people (I am too) who loves to get free things, setup alerts. All Leads Finder Pro users can setup alerts.
For in-program alerts (where your new items just appear on your screen), check the “Add as Alert” box before submitting your search. Then, name your alert. You are now set to receive in program alerts.
For email alerts (where you get the results via email), do the same steps as above. However, click on the “Alerts” tab on the left-hand side of the program. Then, check the box to enable email alerts. Finally, key in your email address and click to save your changes.
Avoid Curb Alerts UNLESS
Personally, I always thought it was kind of trashy to haul a bunch of junk out to the side of the road, hoping that someone will take it. But thanks to the internet and sites like Craigslist.org and programs like the Leads Finder, these things don’t stay roadside debris for long.
Curb alerts are nice and you can find a lot of good things, but many people end up wasting time and gas. Most stuff is picked over 2 hours after being hauled to the side of the road (sometimes before an official curb alert posting is made online). Remember, your goal is to save money, not waste $5 on gas to comeback empty handed.
