Are you a deal seeker? If so, you can and should use Craigslist.org and other popular classified websites. They are home to a lot of for sale items with cheap price tags. You can find everything from clothes to musical instruments to used cars to homes, and much more. To find these items, you must perform a search. There are two ways that you can find these great deals. They include visiting each classified website, like Craigslist.org, and performing a search or installing and using a search tool, like the Leads Finder. Which method is the best?
How to Search for Items on Classified Websites
For this example, we will use Craigslist.org but many other websites are very similar to search. To search directly from the Craigslist.org website, select your location – state and city. Enter in your search phrase in the search box on the left. To keep the results relevant and at a minimum, choose good search phrases or words. For example, if looking for a John Deere 322, search for it. You will then see a list of for sale items. Read each headline to get an idea of what the item or click the headline to see the full classified listing. All of this is done in an internet browser window like Internet Explorer.
How to Search for Items with the Leads Finder
Unlike searching Craigslist.org or another website with Internet Explorer, the Leads Finder is a desktop application. Open the Leads Finder and key in a search phrase, like the John Deere 322. Then, you get a list. Instead of appearing on a separate page, this list appears at the top of your program window. You can then click on each item to see the full classified listing in the spot below. The main difference between using the Leads Finder as a search tool and searching the website is your search options. You can search all of Craigslist with the Leads Finder and hundreds of other classified sites all at the same time.
