JobFinder: How to Upload & Attach Resumes

The JobFinder allows you to store an unlimited number of resumes and cover letters. When applying for a job via the JobFinder, simply attach one of your stored resumes and cover letters. To get started, please follow these steps:

How to Upload Resumes and Cover Letters

Note: The steps are the same for resumes and cover letters. To upload your resume, follow the steps below. To upload your cover letters, follow the same steps. EXCEPT instead of clicking the “Resumes” button, please click the “Covers” button. The steps are still the same.

Step #1: Click Resumes Button

To do this, click the “My Resumes” tab on the left-hand side of the page. Directly above, you will now see a resumes section.

Step #2: Name Your Resume

You can name your resume and write a short description. I uploaded a resume for retail jobs, so it is titled retail. The short description is optional.

Step #3: Find Your Resume

Click the “Browse to Attach Resume” button. Now, find the resume you want to upload on your computer and select “Open.”

Step #4: Upload Your Resume

Complete the process by clicking the “Add Resume To List” button. The image to the left is what happens next, your resume appears in your resume box. To later delete a resume, just click the X.

How to Send Resumes and Cover Letters As Attachments

You can apply for jobs via the JobFinder. When doing so, you are sending an email reply. The JobFinder allows you to send one resume and one cover letter for each job.

Step #1: View the Job Listing

This entails doing a search and clicking on a job from your search results; the full listing appears in the window below. Off to the right, click the “Reply” button. 

Step #2: Name, Email Address & Message

You are required to type your name, your email address, and a message. Do this now.

Step #3: Attach Resumes and Cover Letters

Since your resumes and cover letters were uploaded to the JobFinder, they will automatically show. For example, by clicking the “Resumes” box; I see the retail resume I uploaded above. Choose your resume and cover letter and then click to send.

You are now done!  You will notice a color change to show that you already applied for the job.
