JobFinder - Job Search Tips, Job Searching, Job Search Help, Job Search Goals, Job Search Sites, Job Search Tools

Do you need or want a new job? If so, you may sign online each and every day doing research. It is great to stay active in your job search, but does your job search result in wasted time? You want to maximize use of your time for the best results. How can you do this?

Job Searach Tip:  Use the JobFinder

Job search tools, like the JobFinder, let you search the internet for jobs within minutes! These job search tools are designed to let you search thousands of job search websites at once! So lets say you want to search Monster, Career Builder, Hot Jobs, and so forth. Instead of visiting each website to perform the same search, you can do one jobs search with the JobFinder! How neat does that sound? Imagine how much time you save!

Unlike many of the other job search tools you see online, the JobFinder is a desktop program; it isn’t a website that you visit. What makes this better? We are able to bring you more features than traditional job search sites. For instance:

Viewing: You see your search results and all job listings in the same program window. Perform a search and your list of jobs appears in the top of the JobFinder. Click a headline to see the full job listing in the window below. There is no need to keep hitting your internet browser’s back button.

Sorting & Deleting: Many job search tools online don’t let you edit your search results list. So say you have a job that you don’t like on your search results page; you need to still look at that listing. Not anymore with the JobFinder. Take jobs you don’t like and right-click to remove them.

Job Search Tip:  Set Job Goals

It was pretty easy to find and land a job just a few years ago. Due to the economy, there are more job seekers than there are available jobs. Being the best job candidate doesn’t even guarantee you a job, but it does help. It is also about luck, timing, and who you know. You can also improve your chances by sending out more resumes. So in terms of job goals for your job search, the goal of sending out 10 resumes or so a week is great. Other ideal goals include searching with the JobFinder at least twice a day or setting up new job alerts.

Job Search Tip:  Stay Organized

Time is wasted when you are unorganized. If you don’t have all your ducks in a row, you can show up late for a job interview, miss it altogether, send multiple copies of your resume to the same job and so forth. Job search tools like the JobFinder can help to improve your organization. Make use of customized notes to keep track of important dates. Send your job search resumes though the program so you see which jobs you already applied to, and so forth. If you aren’t using the JobFinder, be sure to rely on the good ole pen and paper.
