Q: What happens when my free trial expires?

A: When your free 7-day trial ends, you must download the Car Finder Free or purchase the Car Finder or the Car Finder Pro. You can do so by clicking the link above.

Q: Which Car Finder should I buy?

A: Each Car Finder program comes with its own unique features. For more information, view our side-by-side comparison of the Car Finder programs (the Car Finder Free, the Car Finder, and the Car Finder Pro).

Q: What websites does the Car Finder search?

A: In all honesty, there are too many websites to individually list. The Car Finder searches thousands of websites for you at once. You get dealership sites, car finding sites, classified sites, and more searched. Your zip code also plays a role too.

Q: Why aren’t my searches producing any results?

A: Since the Car Finder does search thousands of websites for you, you should see lots of results. If you aren’t, please recheck your search criteria. Ensure all keywords are properly spelled, your zip code is correct, and so forth.

Q: How can I narrow down my results?

A: The Car Finder is unique in that you can search with just a zip code and radius. This returns a list of all for sale cars in the area. Depending on your zip code, this might be thousands of vehicles! To narrow down your results, customize your searches more. Use a keyword, set a price range, opt for a specific type of seller, vehicle condition, and so forth.

Q: Can I sort my results?

A: Yes. There are headings at the top of your search results list (see image below), click on one of those headlines. For example, sort listings based on make, model, price, location, mileage, condition, and color.

Q: Why does the reply box need an email address?

A: When you hit the “Reply” button in the Car Finder, you are responding via email to a car listing. If the send to section is blank, reply by email is not permitted. Instead, search the vehicle listing for a phone number.

Q: Why isn’t the built-in reply working?

A: As stated above, an email address must be provided in the listing. If one is and if you are getting an error message, it is likely because you have yet to customize your email settings. To do this, click on the “My Email Settings” on the left-hand side of the page.

Q: Why isn’t a seller responding to me? Did my email go through?

A: If you were able to send an email through the Car Finder, it went through. We can connect you with sellers, but we cannot guarantee that they will respond. In most cases if they don’t reply back it is likely due to the fact that the vehicle already sold.
