Q: How long is my free trial?
A: All free trials are for 7-days. After those 7-days, you will no longer be able to perform a used car search unless you download the Car Finder Free or purchase the Car Finder or the Car Finder Pro.
Q: What websites does the Car Finder search?
A: There are way too many websites to list here. The Car Finder Free, Car Finder, and Car Finder Pro all search hundreds or thousands of websites (it depends on your zip code and radius searched). Craigslist, big car sites, and even the locally operated ones are searched at once.
Q: What happens if my searches don’t produce any results?
A: Most likely, you are looking for a car that isn’t available for sale in your area. You can try a different search with a more generalized phrase (make and model minus the year). However, you might want to double check your spelling as well.
Q: Is there a way to narrow down my results?
A: Yes! You can do a search with just a price range and a zip code to see all used cars for sale within your budget. You can do a search with just your zip code and a keyword phrase (make and model). In addition to getting cars within your price range only, you can see cars for sale by a seller or dealer only, choose the vehicle condition, and color!
Q: Why doesn’t the email reply for the Car Finder work?
A: To use the email reply, an email address must have been provided in the car listing. If it isn’t, you can use the “contact seller here” link or use the phone number provided. If you receive an error message, it is because you have yet to set your “Email Settings.”
Q: What if I have any additional questions, comments, or concerns?
You can read more frequently asked questions and their answers concerning the Car Finder here.
