Most of our desktop applications have a feature that we like to refer to as “Email Car Alerts.” When you activate an email alerts, you will be notified by email whenever new vehicles that meet your search criteria appear online. How can you activate these alerts and who benefits the most from them?
Any Car Finder search engine user can benefit from setting up email alerts. For example, say you are looking for a specific make and model. You can’t find it for sale online, so set up an email alert; that new car will soon appear.
While email alerts are a good idea for interested car buyers, they are vital for used car dealers. Why? Dealers are always on the lookout for new or used vehicles. After all, they must keep the inventory flowing from their lot and email alerts simplify the process of making this happen.
To get new car listings that meet your search standards by email, enter in your search standards as normal, check the “Ad as Alerts” box, and click the search button. A pop-up window will appear; key in all required information. Then, click the “Alerts” tab on the left-hand side of the program, enter in your email address, and click to apply your changes.
