There are many reasons to be cautious when meeting to buy an item (regardless of what it be) from a stranger. With that said, remember that the Leads Finder Pro and Property Finder Pro enable nationwide searches. Some items can be purchased long-distance and shipped through the mail. However, if you intend to meet up with a local seller, here are some helpful tips for you.

Pick a safe location. When buying certain items, such as a bag of kids toys or a stack of movies, you have the ability to choose the location. These items are easy enough for the seller to transport themselves. So even if you pick the gas station down the road from their home, you are still in a hopefully populated public place.

Bring a friend. Buying a large item such as a 50 inch television or getting a used couch for free? If so, you’ll likely want to bring a friend along anyways. However, if you intend to visit a seller’s home, bring another person with you. Sounds silly, but remember your kindergarten teacher’s speech about the buddy system? Follow it! At the very least, let someone know exactly where you’ll be headed.

Daylight hours are best. It is never a good idea to meet a stranger (no matter how good of a deal they are offering you) at midnight on a deserted road. So don’t do it!
