So far we have covered selecting a good category and wisely choosing the search radius. These two steps will improve your Property Finder searches and bring you targeted results. But wait! What else can you do? You can use a good search phrase when doing a search for real estate online.

When it comes to searching for real estate for sale or for rent, using a search phrase can get tricky. Too general of a phrase might equal thousands of results. But, too specific of a search phrase might equal too few results. So what should you do?

Your best bet is to keep your searches semi-specific. For example, you want a two bedroom home with a nice back yard. Search with “two bedroom home yard” and you aren’t likely to get much. Instead, try “two bedroom.” Find out after the fact (by reviewing the listing) to see if it has a nice yard.

Please note that while searching with a keyword or keyword phrase is recommended, it is not required. Want to see all real estate for sale or real estate for rent in the area? Leave this field blank.
